I am currently assistant professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Bridgeport. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006 under Dr. JungHwan Oh's supervising. Previously, I received a BS from Sungkyunkwan University in Mathematic Education and an MS from Sogang University in Computer Science, both of South Korea. Before I pursued my doctorate, I worked as a database administrator for seven years with companies including Boram Bank, Hana Bank and IBM Korea. My primary research interest is in the multimedia database management system based on graph theory including graph-based multimedia data modeling, graph-based indexing structure, query processing, and summary.
