New Year's Eve Project" |
Featuring the sculptures of
two New Jersey artists who have been working collaboratively for the
past five years. Sharing a vision that makes their work truly unique,
the two utilize scarp materials to explore themes of the spiritual
warrior and the magical power of the mask. |

Eve Project" documents New Year's Eve clebrations from around
the world an captures "intimate narratives about ordinary people
instilled with the spirit of an extraordinary night." |

A group show
exploring the use of the figure in contemporary art. Teh exhibition
will look at a variety of media and styles and the diversity of the
work will demonstrate how different artists interpret a common theme. |

An historic photographic exhibition
provided by one of Bridgeport's oldest photo studios. Established
in 1906, the Corbitt Studio has documented the ups and downs of the
City of Bridgeport for nearly a century. |

staff of the University of Bridgeport. This is a unique opportunity
for the UB community to share with students, co-workers and friends
and show off their won appreciation of art. |

Millenium Time Capsule"

A visual time
capsule designed to look to the future in a unique manner. This exhibition
will be imagined for an audience in 3000 A.D. and will seek to relate
something about who we are and what we're about as a society, through
the visual language of art. Produced in collaboration with the Women's
Caucus for Art and selected by distinguished juror Harry Philbrick,
Director of the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art. |

Featuring the one-of-a-kind
polaroid photographs of Massachussetts artist Joachim Knill. Depicting
macro still-lifes and surreal landscapes using fruit, plants, vegetables,
flowers and other materials found in nature, these images offer a
colorful and whimsical look at the world we live in. |

work of students from the Integrated Media Art Program, an innovative
program designed to mesh ideas of traditional art production with
computer technology. |
