Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research: 1/2008 - Present, University
of Bridgeport. The coordinating administrator for the Schools of Engineering, Business and
Education and Human Resources. Providing leadership
for the University within the areas of grant writing; review of public relations, recruiting
and marketing materials; inter-school collaborations for new
interdisciplinary graduate program development and/or consolidation.
Managing and leading the University office of sponsored research.
Dean, School of Engineering: 7/99 - Present, School of engineering, University
of Bridgeport. Coordinating school accreditation activities for various
department, fund raising, pursuing coroporate relationships and international
program development with other institutions, managing school budget, facilities
and space management and enhancement, coordinating personnel reviews,
recruiting, and RPT committees, restructuring the EE undergraduate major,
pursuing CSAB accreditation, expanding external and non-traditional program
offerings, initiating an M.S. program in Management of Technology, integrating
the industrial design dept. offerings into existing engineering programs,
cross projects and innovative syllabi development, implementing outcome
assessment strategies, establishing admission, language and bridge courses
criteria, and continuing school web site and client development for the
