OUR ENVIRONMENT: THE OCEANS

DESCRIPTION

The scientific examination of the geological, physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the oceans. The course includes laboratory and field studies of local marine environments including trips onto Long Island Sound aboard the Catherine Moore.

Prerequisite: Science C101 or C102 or an equivalent course.
