Teachers and others interested in
Participants will learn about using Long Island Sound as a resource for teaching marine science. The course will consist of presentations by those who study and work on Long Island Sound, field trips to the shore, a trip onto the Sound in a research vessel, and visits to marine facilities on the Sound. Local resources will be used to help bring the National Standards to the classroom. Participants will receive curriculum materials for use in their classroom.
